There is something a little bit special about Richmond Park, Surrey. A little slice of the countryside but so close to London it’s unbelievable. A place where the deer roam freely and are not bothered by humans and there is lots to see and do. Husband and I have always enjoyed it there and now we live in Surrey again, enjoy sharing it with the girls too.
With so many places to explore and play we never get bored either. Although we hadn’t actually been for a while, we visited the Isabella Plantation over half term and enjoyed a lovely few hours exploring the woods, playing pooh sticks and feeding the ducks in the pond. Simple pleasures that my girls never tire of.
Here’s a little video of them having fun there, theres a bit in there that makes me giggle when they are obviously posing for a photo:
As always I am linking in with the lovely Fiona and Country Kids, our inspiration behind our outdoors adventures.

March 5, 2016 at 9:41 am (9 years ago)Love the video and yes I spotted the pose for a photo moment! The girls always look so happy playing together and content in nature. Poppy’s hair is suddenly so long, she will be able to sit on it soon, it is amazing how much they have changed just since I saw them at New Year. Richmond park is so pretty and such a wonderful big open space in such a built up area. It looks like a lovely blast of fresh air for you all. Thank you for joining me for #CountryKids

March 5, 2016 at 2:46 pm (9 years ago)They haven’t stopped growing this year. The big girls both want hair like Repunzel and at the moment I am humouring them and just going with it. They do need cuts soon though! Love the little dances and stuff, they do that all the time. We definitely have you to thank for getting them outdoors so much x
