We visited Padstow for the first time over New Year and instantly fell for its charm, the pretty town, the busy harbour and of course it’s gorgeous beaches full of rocks to climb, caves to hide in and rock pools to explore:
We headed back there this week and although started our route the same way as before, this time we went a slightly different way discovering more coves and beaches to explore and enjoy:
Once again it rained a little but thankfully we managed to dodge the worst of it. We did see the most amazing coloured skies though ranging from bright blue, to grey and finally black in the space of a few hours:
What with all that running, walking, jumping and exploring they definitely tired themselves out and despite the grey sky it wasn’t too cold at all (much warmer than in January). On the way back towards the town we spotted this beautiful rainbow. A lovely ending to a perfect afternoon on the beach:
We will definitely be back again.

April 4, 2016 at 6:17 am (9 years ago)This looks like a lot of fun and they seem to be playing away very nicely together. I love the beach in the winter, much nicer than the summer.
Seems like they had a good time running, climbing and exlporing. apologies for being late with my comment #countrykids
