Having three little girls with flower names I decided at the start of the year I wanted to capture lots of photos of them with flowers. We’ve managed quite a few and are getting a collection to blow up and put on the wall but then last weekend we took some of the best ones.
We spent a day at a lavender Farm, playing in the lavender fields and wild meadows too. I was advised that had we come 3 weeks earlier the fields were filled with bright red Poppys and was very sad to miss that as I’ve been searching for a Poppy field to capture Poppy in for ages.
However, the beautiful purple fields were definitely worth a visit:
We took some amazing photos I just had to share. The first one is one of my favourites that I’ve taken of all 3 girls. I love it. Ok it would have been better if the sky was bright blue but it’s a happy, relaxed photo of all three of my little girls and I’m really pleased with it:
There were of course a million more:
They weren’t just all of the girls either. Poppy took a great one of us on Daddy’s camera and we managed to get some family ones too:
What a beautiful day. We finished off with some lavender ice cream in the tearoom which was surprisingly yummy before heading off home. We would definitely go back though:
Inspired by Country Kids, we are loving our weekly adventures and time spent outside this year. Come and join in with your outside fun.
