DC Super Hero Girls Toddler Dolls – A Review

Apparently, DC Super Hero Girls toddler dolls are not just for toddlers. Even big girls think they are pretty cool!

Last week we were sent the most amazing parcel of DC Super Hero Girls for review. Inside were goodies for a Super Hero movie night in which I thought we would all enjoy. There were the Lego Movie and a nail art kit perfect for my growing girls who are just getting into this sort of thing. Then there were three of these amazing Super Hero dolls:

DC Superhero Toddler Dolls, RRP: £24.99 each

Aimed at toddlers, I knew Daisy, aged 5 would love these dolls as she adores dolls and dressing up as a superhero. However, I was not expecting the excited squeals from my bigger girls aged 7 and 9 years. Rosie spotted Bat Girl first and as purple is her favourite colour she pulled it out saying “this is mine, this is for me”. It was hilarious. Daisy picked Wonder Woman next and Poppy happily accepted Super Girl. Here’s Rosie aged 7 with them all:

These dolls are pretty cool. They are a really impressive size. My girls were definitely impressed. Perfect for little ones, they would make a fantastic present. They come with removable cloaks, some have removable wrist cuffs and of course boots. Wonder Woman also has a lasso. Not too many pieces to lose but a few that are easy enough to put on and off. We LOVE them.

The movie itself was pretty good too. My girls love Lego and Lego movies but one centered around Super Hero girls really appealed to them. We had fun with the nail art set too. The stickers were a perfect size for little fingers and I was impressed that the nail varnished simply washed off with soap and water. No danger of nail varnish ruining carpets and furniture.
