What a lovely week. It started off with Fathers Days, included Poppy's first sports day and ended with Brit Mums. Lots of fun!
167. “Breakfast in bed” – the girls helped me make a special breakfast for Daddy this morning for Fathers Day. We then took it up to him with homemade cards & pressies. Later we went over to see my Dad where my Sister & her boys as well as my Nana were still staying.
168. “Making music” – Daisy and Rosie played beautifully together this morning. They had the instruments out & really enjoyed it.
169. “Flat Out” – I went and got Rosie up the same time as usual but she fell asleep again whilst I was getting organised for the school run. Luckily i managed to wake her without a meltdown
170. “Sponge race” – it was Poppys first sports day today & a lovely afternoon. It was hot and sunny as well as very well organised so we all enjoyed ourselves.
171. “Playful Daddy” – Daddy was in a very good mood and feeling playful tonight. He happily spun the girls around whilst they squealed with delight shouting “more Daddy” and “my turn”! It was lovely to see.
172. “My night off” – I wish I had taken a picture of my Sister & I off to BritMums as I felt lovely in my new pretty dress. However, here's the gorgeous Pink Lining bag I was sent to take with me instead. It was a great afternoon/ evening (post & review coming soon) topped off with a lovely night out with the soda stream team and other bloggers at the Hoxton. I might have got a little tipsy & ate lots of yummy food 🙂
I'm kind of cheating with my favourite picture this week as I didn't actually take it. Sorry!! I was having so much fun at Brit Mums I didn't actually think about taking photos (strange but true) anyway as a result I didn't have many to choose from.
However, most people don't know that I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter & when the chance arose to have my picture taken with the real Hedwig (well 1 of 3) whilst holding Harry's wand (….yes you read that right) I jumped at it:
I'm such a big kid 🙂
Linking this in as always with the boy and me:
