Dear Daisy,

Today you turn four years old and Mummy doesn’t know where the time has gone. In some ways it seems like you have been with us for years but in others it seems like only yesterday when you were born.

Last year you were poorly on your birthday. Nanny and Gramps came to visit and we all went out for the day. Actually it wasn’t the whole day just a little walk, you weren’t well at all. You didn’t even have the energy to blow out the candles on your cake and let your big sisters do it for you. Here’s what you were up to at two.

Thankfully this year you were more than fit and healthy. We drove to see Nanny and Gramps and Auntie D, Uncle Jim, William and Thomas were there too. We all enjoyed an amazing family party. To be honest you were quite overwhelmed with all the attention at first but soon settled into it. They decorated the garden, William organised the disco and party games and you all had a fabulous time.

The highlight had to be the cake. Honestly you love smashing and destroying things and have a very sweet tooth so a cake you had to smash…you were in your element.

We are hoping now that you are four you are going to calm down a little. You are fondly known as crazy Daisy because your really are a bit loopy. You literally don’t stop running and jumping and as a result are constantly crashing into things. You’re always covered in bruises and constantly break things. The big girls get upset when you land on their lego and knock over their creations though. They are hoping you will calm down a bit this year too.

You have the biggest smile and give the best cuddles little miss. You might be crazy and cheeky but we all love you lots and wish you the best birthday ever!!

Daisy at 4

Love you more than rainbows , sunshine and sprinkles.
