Dear Daisy,
You are my gorgeous, happy baby girl who is growing up far too quickly. Everyday you seem to be changing and becoming more and more able. You are on the move now, although not really crawling yet. You clap, giggle, make lots of sounds, you say “Mamma”, “Dadda” and “more”. you can even point with your chubby little fingers.
Gone are the days when you would just sit still looking pretty, now you get about anyway you can. This means rolling, bottom shuffling and a kind of commando crawl where you stretch and reach for what you want, edging your way slowly. I now need eyes everywhere!
Unable to crawl forward you can go backwards but this means you get frustrated as you move further and further away from your toys. I do feel sorry for you.
Generally you are a happy, content little thing. You are very sociable (flashing shy smiles at anyone who looks at you). You're very cute and cuddly still and I love that.
You tend to go to bed just after your big Sisters at the moment. that way we get a bit of quality time together without all the noise and chaos. I love this time of day. It's quiet and peaceful and you get my full on attention. During the day I do sometimes feel as though I am permanently plonking you down to deal with your Sisters but mostly you are quite happy and don't object too much.
We are still having a few issues with sleep. You have had another cold/ runny nose recently that has knocked you all off balance again. You do sleep but don't like going to bed much. You like to have a hand on you or a gentle tap on the bottom to help you go off. If not you scream which isn't great, especially when I used to be able to plonk You in bed and walk off 🙁
I love you so much sweetheart. Despite being exhausted I am a very happy Mummy and feel extremely lucky to have three beautiful little girls.
Love you to the moon and back Princess.
