When you think of the beach in October you might imagine we were wearing waterproofs, warm layers and wellies but no, not this year.
Last weekend we headed down to Exmouth, Devon with my Dad to catch up with some of the family. As usual we couldn't wait to get to the beach but the surprising thing for this time of year was we were dressed for summer. Yes it was such a beautiful day the girls and I were wearing pretty summer dresses, playing in the sand, eating ice creams and exploring rock pools. Lots of fun.

It really was a lovely day and reminded me of all the times I spent at that beach as child. Seeing the girls explore the rock pools reminded me of my Sister and I playing with my cousins. I can't wait to take them back again.
