After moving away from the rolling countryside of Gloucestershire and the beautiful Cotswolds we are thrilled to discover we don't have to miss out on all of the fun we've been having outside this year.
We may have moved closer to London but with 8 beautiful Royal parks to explore as well as National Trust areas, there are plenty of places to explore and share with you all.
Last week we visited Bushy Park, the second largest of the capital's eight Royal Parks. Close to Hampton Court Palace, Bushy Park is pretty impressive. Once inside you can easily forget city life and where you are, imagining you are in the country instead.
There were ducks to feed:
Trees to climb:
Space to run:
The combination of woods, gardens, ponds and grassland make it a fantastic place to explore. The girls enjoyed spotting wildlife from birds and squirrels to the impressive roaming herds of Red and Fallow Deer:
The deer were amazing but surprisingly it was Daisy who was the most interested in them. It was very cute to see her reaction:
The big girls liked the deer but were much more interested in the play park and giant sand pit. It's brilliant!
A fantastic afternoon out and somewhere we will be visiting time and time again.

October 3, 2014 at 11:26 pm (10 years ago)My office in Kingston used to look out over Bushy park and I used to run in there in my lunch hour. Wonderful to see you and the girls enjoying it. Such a great park to have close by. I’m loving your photos as always and your beautiful girls always look so well turned out in their dresses. Thank you for sharing a delightful park trip on Country Kids.
