Last Sunday we were all suffering from severe cabin fever. With all three girls having Chickenpox one after each other, we had all been stuck home for a few weeks. With just the garden to play out in, we were starting to get rather fed up.

We decided to get the girls out for a bit but needed to stay away from other people (especially children and pregnant ladies). Rosie was almost better but Poppy and Daisy were both very infectious, having only just gone down with it. We decided to go for a walk and settled on a lovely local National Trust area we had been to several times before. Always pretty quiet we could keep our distance from any other walkers.

It was perfect and just the trick, we weren't out that long as Poppy had very little energy but it blew the cobwebs away and made us all smile for a while.

Here's a few photos I took.

The cows were pretty close and just a little scary:

Daisy enjoyed being up high on Daddy's back:

The girls appreciated the change of scenery:

They found crickets:

Had a little roll down the hills:

Result – our biggest poorly girl smiling:

Of course we had to finish with an ice cream:

Not quite their usual selves but a big improvement after getting out.
