Floating onto our screens today is Cloudbabies, an enchanting new Pre-school series for Cbeebies.
Poppy and Rosie were delighted to get a preview of the first episode, As soon as I downloaded it and switched it on, they heard the music and both came running over to the laptop. They stood in silence watching it with smiles on their little faces and asked for it again and again.
so whats it all about then? well,
Cloudbabies is an enchanting new animated pre-school series for CBeebies about four adorable, childlike characters Baba Pink, Baba Yellow, Baba Blue and Baba Green whose job it is to look after the sky and their Sky Friends – Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Fuffa Cloud and Little Star.
In this particular episode Fluffa tells each Cloudbaby that the door needs painting. Its very cute but will they find a solution? We wont tell you exactly what happens because that would spoil it but it is a lovely intoduction to the characters. The programme is long enough to keep little ones interested and the bright colours are very appealing.
At 22 months Rosie was absolutely mesmerised, she has never really been that interested in the TV and doesn’t watch much at all but she was loving this programme. On the other hand, I actually though it might be a little babyish for Poppy at almost four but no not at all. She really enjoyed it too.
Each episode has subtle morals to its story, teaching children about looking after themselves, others and the world around them. Of course it will also teach them about the sun, moon, rainbow and stars and the concepts of day and night. Definitely worth a look.
It floats onto our screens at 11.25am Monday 14th March and I know we will be watching it.
