My big girls were thrilled to be asked to review some of the new toys from the Fisher Price Bubble Guppies range and even more excited when the parcel arrived:
They were sent the rock and roll stage play set (Molly and Rock Lobster figures included), the extra rock and roll figures: Nonny & Gil and Deema & Puppy. They were also sent two plush toys Gil and Bubble puppy. Very lucky girls indeed.
The girls love this Nick Junior show so were well aware of these characters. The soft toys now go to bed with them each night and they happily “rock out” with the stage. It lights up and plays four different songs as well as a variety of familiar phrases. The caracters really do roll and both girls love sliding the characters down the slide. I love watching their imaginations run wild as they act out different scenarios.
It was very easy to put together (less than 10 minutes). The best way to show it off is by video, so here’s a little clip:
Aimed at 18 months plus, my big girls love it but Daisy can’t wait to get in on the action either. She loves to shake her bottom and clap along to the songs even though she’s not yet one.
This play set is bright and colourful and seems sturdy enough. The characters are all good sizes for little hands. The only problem we have is that the doors fall off but I find this a common problem with most children’s toys not just these ones.
Lots of fun for preschoolers and we would definitely recommend. They get a big thumbs up from my girls.
