This Autumn our three girls have had so much fun with leaves. They have jumped in them, crunched in them, kicked through them, thrown them at each other and us and caught them. They still haven’t tired of these games yet but sadly the leaves are starting to disappear now and soon there won’t be any left:
To help us remember how much fun we have had this Autumn, I have put together a little collection of some of my favourite leaf photos. Husband and I have enjoyed capturing them whilst they play. It’s such a beautiful time of year with such bright gorgeous colours it’s tricky not to get pretty pictures:
Simple outdoor fun that doesn’t cost a penny. Perfect!
For the record I feel I should point out that my girls do wear coats and sometimes even hats and gloves but it really hasn’t been that cold until the past week! You will be seeing more winter woolies soon.

December 5, 2016 at 8:43 am (8 years ago)So very true! Autumn leaves can be such great fun, on top of being the perfect background for beautiful pictures! I remember as a kid how I loved jumping into the big piles of Autumn leaves gathered by the Gartners in the Communal Parks ( come to think of it, I’m not sure the gartners appreciated that much! 😉 ) Beautiful photos and beautiful kids, your last note made me giggle! Atleast you got to show of some pretty autumnal outfits! Thank you for sharing. #countrykids

December 5, 2016 at 2:10 pm (8 years ago)What beautiful photos of your girls having fun in the leaves. Love how deep that carpet of leaves is and the photo with one of your girls throwing the leaves in the air and her sister looking up and getting ready to throw is especially beautiful. What wonderful moments to capture 🙂 #countrykids

December 6, 2016 at 10:46 pm (8 years ago)They are all growing up way too fast and probably all need a good hair cut but have been trying to grow it. I am a little bit nervous of cutting Daisys as am worried all her curls will disappear. They only start from half way down xx
