We are absolutely loving being back in Gloucestershire again. We are right on the edge of the Cotswolds so there are lots of pretty little villages and towns to explore, right on our doorstep. Last weekend we chose to visit Stow on The Wold, a delightful little market town. We had never been before but what a lovely visit it was:
It was a very blustery, windy day. The type of day when its good to get out for a walk and blow the cobwebs away. The girls were delighted to discover the biggest pile of leaves outside some of the prettiest little houses in Stow, so we just let them play. I of course, couldn’t resist taking lots of photos:
Stow on The Wold is really lovely. It is full of Antique shops, Art galleries, Gifts and Crafts. We visited a local craft fair whilst there:
The Cotswolds are a beautiful part of the country and we are enjoying getting out and about exploring them. I think Stow might be one of our favourites so far. The girls will always remember Stow on The Wold for its amazing treasures – heart shaped leaves. They were everywhere:
Keep your eye out for more Cotswold adventures coming soon:

November 4, 2017 at 1:05 pm (7 years ago)Stow on the Wold looks like a truly beautiful little Town to explore, I can certainly see why you loved exploring. The girls look like Christmas came early with that pile of leaves, I love the shot of them jumping, especially with Poppy’s Jump for Joy t-shirt. The heart shaped leaves the girls found are adorable too, how many of those got taken back home with you?
Thank you for sharing your adventure around Stow on the Wold with me on #CountryKids.

November 23, 2017 at 2:42 pm (7 years ago)It was so lovely there. We started with a leaf each but they were all crumpled by the time we got home. I wish I had thought to bring a handful back to make something crafty with. We will have to go back again soon!
