I’ve always fancied going to one of those pumpkin patches but never had before. Then at the weekend after being stuck in for a few days due to sickness, I decided to do a search to see if there was one near by.
Amazingly there was. So on Monday we headed off there for a few hours. Crockford Bridge Farm Shop and PYO in Weybridge really wasn’t too far away and the perfect place to get in the mood for halloween.
There were lots of people there, many of whom had dressed up in their spooky finery. We had left our costumes at home, saving them instead for our halloween party on Saturday night. Watch this space! It should be a good night.
As well as the piles of pumpkins to explore and take photos of, there was a creepy teepee, face painting and a play park to explore. For the hungry, there were plenty of stalls from a fresh farm butchery BBQ, to wood fired pizzas and an ice cream parlour. Inside was a garden centre with cafe and soft play. Plenty to keep little ones entertained.
As you can see the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there were plenty of others there too. It really was a popular event. We stayed just a few hours as had to get back for a delivery but it was fun to get out and do something a bit different. We all enjoyed ourselves.
I would definitely do it again another year and return for fruit picking too.

October 31, 2015 at 10:39 am (9 years ago)It’s great that you found a pumpkin patch fairly close to you that you and the girls could spend a few hours at, especially after being stuck in the house due to sickness for a couple of days. The girls all look like they’re having a fab time exploring all the pumpkins searching for the perfect one to take home to carve. They all look like they’re intrigued by all the different shapes and sizes. Thanks for linking up with me on Country Kids.
