So Poppy turned eight last week and already seems more grown up somehow.

Earlier in the year we fell in love with the Spring/Summer range from Joules and asked relatives for some of it for the girls birthdays. Thanks to very generous relatives they pretty much have most of the collection now and you will be seeing lots more of it over the next few months now they are all turning a year older. The colours are all  so bright and fresh so we can’t help but shout out about them.

On her birthday Poppy couldn’t wait to wear one of her new outfits and immediately picked out this one. She has been eyeing up for a while so was delighted to open it.

She teamed it with her new hair garland, another lovely present.

At first she was a bit hesitant about whether there were too many stripes in her chosen outfit but I assured her it looked fab. Joules have some amazing separates this year and they all kind of a mix and match in a bright and cheerful way, ignoring old rules about what goes or doesn’t. Her pumps just happened to look perfect with it too.

Poppy is loving t-shirts at the moment. Having never been a fan of big logos and writing before, we completely changed our minds when we saw all the lovely ones around this year.  She is still very much a girly girl though, so the sequins on this top are perfect for her.

The colours in this collection are so pretty and girly too but not in an over the top way. Its all just fresh, simple and colourful…perfect! It looks great and is very comfortable to wear too. Just what you need to be able to run around and play in.

We were out all day in the sun so this was ideal. It was so light and cool yet looks great too. I think you will be seeing lots more of it.
