New beds and bedrooms are the topic of conversation in this house at the moment. Excited to be moving into a brand new home in February, furniture and colour schemes are never far from my mind. The girls of course have been busy planning how their new rooms will look and even though they are a little anxious about moving again, they can’t wait to have bright and cheerful new bedrooms that reflect their different personalities and growing ages:
Poppy, now eight has always been a very pink and girly girl wants her room to be much more grown up in the new house. She wants to ditch the pale pink and ballerinas and have a brand new bright and colourful aqua colour scheme, a painted wall and desk.
We weren’t actually planning on buying any new furniture until a bit closer to the time when it could be delivered straight to the new house but unfortunately a few weeks ago her bed broke and she needed a new one. Thankfully Room To Grow came to the rescue and very kindly gifted her a new one straight away:
The Solitaire White Single Bed
This bed is gorgeous, contemporary and very stylish. Most importantly it feels very solid and is extremely comfortable to sleep in. I must admit I could have easily fallen asleep whilst snuggled up listening to her read in the evenings. Usually £165.00 It is currently on sale for £119.00 and is available individually or as part of a beautiful bedroom package. We can’t tell you how lovely it really is.
The Solitaire white single bed is brilliant, mostly because we had been planning on buying Poppy a new one and she had her eye on either a mid or high sleeper bed. We had in fact been eyeing them up on the Room To Grow website but were undecided on which would suit her best. Thankfully the solitaire bed can easily be converted into a mid sleeper, high sleeper or even bunk beds with a simple conversion kit which is available to buy together with a range of furniture to go underneath it. Perfect for our growing daughter. Which one do you think she should choose?

The bed arrived very quickly and the delivery man was very helpful. It was just one long box but was pretty heavy so he brought it inside and put it out of the way for me as Husband was away at the time.
Despite being away all week we couldn’t wait for the bed to go up, so after a quick cup of tea Husband was set to work straight away. The instructions were apparently very simple and easy to follow and the bed just fit together perfectly. Fortunately for us Daddy is very good at this sort of thing and really enjoys doing it too. He was very, very impressed with both the quality of the bed and the ease of which it went up. I would say it probably took him about an hour and a half to fit together. You can see a short video of him doing it here:
Poppy has had this bed for a few weeks now and is really happy with it. We just need to decide how to have it set up in the new house and treat her to a new duvet, pillows and bedding to compliment it. Luckily for her in the new house she will have a really good sized bedroom where this bed can be really shown off:
We have no complaints about the bed itself, the only problem we have now is that little sister wants a brand new cool bed too. She quite likes this one but it won’t go with her desire for a rainbow themed bedroom:
Solitaire White Midsleeper With pink & Purple Tent
A truly fantastic bed at a very reasonable price too. We love it and can’t wait to share many more photos and video of Poppys new stylish bedroom when we move into our new house in February.

Loving life with little ones
October 24, 2016 at 12:14 pm (8 years ago)I love the idea of a convertible bed, my girls have mid sleepers and they are great, I am not keen on high sleepers as it would be me that has to get up there to change the sheets. Something like this would be fab for our toddlers first bed than it can grow with him when he gets older. x
